Heidi has been helping us for nearly a year now. She helped us acquire great local knowledge on the various neighborhoods in Vashon. Each area has its quirks and each house as well. It's important to know about the easements, septic situation, gas availability; commute time to ferries, bus routes, etc. Having a local that can guide you is HUGE. She maintained constant contact with us as the buying client and our lender, title company and escrow office to ensure we were all aware of timelines and all information regarding the property. When the first lender, a credit union, with whom we had an account for over forty years, could not confirm that they could close the loan by the required date, Heidi found a lender willing to work with us. During all of this turmoil, my husband was hospitalized for five days. After the loan documents were signed by all parties, Heidi personally saw that the documents were delivered for closing to the lender and recorder’s office in Seattle to meet the required closing date.
